General characteristics

This shrimp has always been present on the Brazilian coast, but it only entered the market in 2022. This is because it is a deep-water shrimp (700 to 800 meters deep) and, therefore, difficult to catch. Perfect for grilling, the scarlet shrimp is versatile and super easy to prepare. An interesting fact: because it inhabits deep waters, it lives at a temperature of around 5°C!
