General information

General characteristics

A scaly fish found along the entire Brazilian coast, from Rio Grande do Sul to Amapá, it can be easily found in coastal waters ranging from shallow depths to 30 meters, where rocks meet sand. It can also frequent the brackish waters of estuaries.
