Baixo risco Extrativista

Unlike piapara and piauçu, piaus are small fish with a maximum size of 30 cm. They are very tasty but have many bones. The ideal is to "score" them, meaning to make several cuts in the flesh to break up the bones. After being breaded and fried, all you need is lemon and beer to go with it. It's very good! These fish are more commonly found in the Midwest, Pantanal, and Amazon regions.
