Jamaican Weakfish (Cynoscion jamaicensis): Similar to the small weakfish and the rocket weakfish, this species is small, reaching a maximum of 1 kg and approximately 50 cm in length. Its body is silvery, darkening towards the back, with a slightly darker dorsal line. One of its distinguishing features is the size of its eye, which is larger than that of other weakfish, and it also has a straight caudal fin, which further distinguishes it.
