General characteristics
It looks more like a ray, but it's a shark. Relatively small, the angel shark can reach a maximum of 95cm, usually staying between 70-80 cm in length. This cartilaginous fish usually frequents the seabed, especially in open spaces without vegetation, as it hides in the sand or mud.
