General information

General characteristics

A prehistoric-looking fish, with a body covered in bony plates and spines, as well as very thick skin. For this reason, it is common to find it already cleaned. Once cleaned, it closely resembles a pleco. In fact, it is relatively common for armal to be sold as pleco.
